On Wednesday 27th March, Year 6 had the opportunity to visit the National Army Museum. During the visit, the children had an amazing time learning about parachutes and investigating which shapes and materials were best to make a parachute. After making their own parachute, the children were very lucky as they got to launch them from the third floor onto a target mat. We also had time to explore the museum and learn about the effects of war on society, as well as being able to make the choice whether they could be a soldier.
